Waterfalls are a natural phenomenon that can be interpreted in many ways, including as a symbol of life, change, and persistence.

There is an undeniable beauty in a waterfall. No one would dispute that claim, yet what makes this continuously flowing body of water so majestic? Waterfalls are so powerful; they are chaotic, roaring, and continuously in motion. Yet, as viewers we perceive it as tranquil and hypnotizing. Why not view life as we view a waterfall? I have always been intrigued by their beauty, sounds and sheer brilliance. Waterfalls are magical creations of nature. They really push you into the realm of such positivity due to their unending symphony. They always have that hidden message that falling won’t hurt, whether philosophically or photographically.

For me it represents unleashed creativity in a constant fluid shape that is ever changing and renewing. It represents openness, flexibility, power, form and spirituality which is an ancient symbol association with water in it's myriad manifestations.

The Dominican Republic is well known for its beautiful beaches, its friendly people, the delicious rum and it’s year-round t-shirt weather. But this island in the Caribbean Sea won’t give away all its secrets so easily. Hidden in the countryside, there is a variety of breathtaking and unique waterfalls ready to be discovered.

I declare this world is so beautiful that I can hardly believe it exists. The sky, the mountains, the trees, the animals, give us a delight in and for themselves.
